iPod 2 iTunes is an Apple iPod backup tool for Windows. It allows you to save the content on your iPod directly to iTunes. Of course, iTunes must be installed for this application to work. At first, I was unable to get it to work because I kept on closing iTunes whenever it opened by itself. But it turns out that iPod 2 iTunes was launching it and it needs it to be open for it to detect your iPod and to be able to move data around. This application, unlike other backup tools, only supports one-way transfer of data. That is to say, you can't put content on your iPod using this app. You can only send songs or videos from your iPod to the computer.
iPod 2 iTunes should support all iPods, except iPhones and the iPod Touch. It also supports "virtual iPods", which can be created by Virtual iPod (it can be found on the developer's website). The application will automatically detect and let you use any virtual iPods that you have active on your computer.
The functionality offered by this application and others from The Boys Downunder have now been combined into a new application called iPod 2 iPod. You can purchase it for $39.95.
